  18. <p>     Just when it looked as if the world's most lovable frog
  19. might be put out to swamp, KERMIT has a new voice and a new
  20. lease on life. The amphibian will join the rest of his pals to
  21. salute their creator, the late Jim Henson, in a CBS-TV special
  22. to air this week. For 35 years Henson had been Kermit's voice,
  23. and after his death last May many feared Kermit would never
  24. speak again. But, says Cheryl Henson, Jim's daughter, "we found
  25. the kids really wanted to keep Kermit going." So an
  26. unidentified Muppet player was called upon to croak for Kermit.
